Coldplay’s Abu Dhabi concerts: Free shuttles available as no parking provided at the venue

Ticketmaster has shared important information with fans attending Coldplay’s highly anticipated concerts at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on January 9, 11, 12, and 14, 2025. As these shows are part of the band’s sold-out world tour, fans are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure a smooth experience.

The concerts will begin with fanzones opening at 3:00 PM, followed by doors at 5:00 PM. The show kicks off with a short set from Shone at 6:00 PM, followed by Elyanna from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM. Coldplay is scheduled to take the stage at 7:45 PM, with the last entry permitted at 8:30 PM. Fanzones will close at midnight, and re-admission will not be allowed.

Entry and ticketing guidelines

Fans are reminded to download their tickets in advance and save them to their mobile wallets via their Ticketmaster accounts. Each ticket features a unique QR code, and everyone attending the event must have a valid ticket. Entry is restricted to the gate specified on the ticket. Unauthorized resellers are discouraged, as counterfeit tickets will not grant entry.

The event is family-friendly, but children under 5 are not permitted, and those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older. Pitch standing is restricted to attendees aged 14 and above.

Sustainability initiatives and transport options

Aligned with Coldplay’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions, fans are urged to use sustainable travel options. No parking will be available at the venue or surrounding roads. Instead, complimentary park-and-ride services will operate from several locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, including Expo City Dubai, Shahama, Sas Al Nakhl, Al Raha, and Nation Towers. Shuttle services will begin in Dubai at 12:50 PM and in Abu Dhabi at 2:00 PM, with returns scheduled after the concert.

Additionally, taxis will have designated drop-off zones with shuttle services to the stadium. Fans are encouraged to bring empty refillable bottles (up to 750ml, excluding metal or glass) to use the free water stations at the venue.

On-site amenities and policies

Food and beverages, including vegetarian and vegan options, will be available for purchase. The event is cashless, and attendees under 21 are prohibited from buying or consuming alcohol. For alcohol purchases, those 21 and older must obtain a wristband on-site.

Strict rules apply to items brought to the venue, with a complete list available at Live Nation’s website. Large bags, glass items, professional cameras, umbrellas, and strollers are among the prohibited items. Bags larger than an A4 size will not be allowed.

Environmental stewardship

Coldplay has incorporated sustainability into the event by offering free water stations, promoting proper trash disposal, and committing to donate unused food to local charities where possible. Fans are also urged to utilize Ticketmaster’s mobile ticketing to minimize paper waste.
